
On Saturday, September 18, the first 2021 convivial meeting of the Tuscan Consulate of the 'Union Européenne des Gourmets: star of the event theEstate of San Donato in Perano, the estate in Chianti Classico recently acquired by the Frescobaldi Familybetween Gaiole in Chianti and Radda, one of the most vocated areas of the Black Rooster appellation. In all there are 250 hectares, 60 planted with vines, 52 of which are Chianti Classico facing south.

The MarquisLamberto Frescobaldireceived us along with Tenuta Hospitality Manager Francesca Mori and Technical Director Gianni Luchini.
After the welcome drink with finger food, cold cuts and cheese selection and toast with
Leonia Pomino Brut Millesimato, Gianni Luchini accompanied us to the vineyard and then the Marquis showed us around the winery, telling us how the acquisition of the estate in Chianti Classico fulfilled a long-standing dream for his family.


At the end of the visit we started the food and wine tour:

- Creamy milk cake, Pomino Estate chestnut honey cookie, lavender ice cream, paired withPomino Vinsanto DOCfrom the estateCastello Di Pomino - Marchesi De' Frescobaldi
