The scents of the Conero

Four days dedicated to the sea, the pebble beaches and the beautiful sea of Sirolo and Numana, Marche hospitality, a beautiful friendship born, as sometimes happens, through work, and that will continue its way beyond, lots of fish and of course the Marche's whites, above all the verdicchio, which confirms itself as one of my favorite Italian whites.

I know we were in the Rosso Conero area and I also pair red with fish, but I wanted to do a full immersion in whites and especially verdicchio.

I tasted with interest the verdicchio wines of Andrea Felici Winery, by Stefano Antonucci of Santa Barbara Wineries, The Prior of Sparapani White Friars, The Unusual of Vicari Farm, but also pussy of Angiolina Piotti Velenosi and pecorino cheese from De Angelis.

Lots of breathtaking views and three little places to eat fish that I gladly recommend: Hostaria la posta in Senigallia, a must if you're looking for great seafood and an intimate, quaint little place, Da Franca - Trattoria Numana, tradition in Sirolo and Eugenio Restaurant, lots of good seafood with excellent value for money, on the beach in Numana.

See you soon Marche!
